The Space in between: art, green space and the public realm

 8/7 SESSION RE-CAP

The last “Space in Between” symposium on August 7 drew approximately 50 people who live and work in Union Square. Participants generated diverse ideas on art and green space that help identify Union Square and facilitate people’s participation in the space. Discussions included creating porosity between public and private realms, creative storm water management, making visible our history, design that inspires playfulness and defining 'the Square'.
